Gitmo Torture Theatre vs. The Gathering of Eagles Times Square

Happy Armed Forces Day!
A big heartfelt thanks to all of our brave and wonderful US Service men and women.
In honor of this special occasion there were two demonstrations in Times Square this afternoon, both to take place on the island in the middle of Broadway in front of the US Armed Forces Recruiter's Station -- a nice location right smack in the center of everything. The Gathering of Eagles and other patriots arrived first and it was a nice turnout despite the chilly light rain. After about an hour or so the 'Torture Theatre' contingent showed up and were not pleasantly surprised to see the large and lively gathering before them. After hesitation and much discussion with the police it was decided that it would be better for them to have their performance art in another location across the street.

Punctuated by bells and drum beats the troupe of moonbats carried out a tortured pantomime supposedly depicting life in Camp X-Ray. At one point the two guys in black ran around in the crowd screaming 'Terrorists! Terrorists!' The police
quickly put a stop to it and apprised them that if they tried that stunt again, which was tantamount to yelling fire in a theater, they would be arrested and told them to remain inside the barriers. The theatrics continued with the guys in black roughing up detainees and implementing the dreaded bucket of water trickle and ghastly confetti torture. Afterwards, walking away I overheard they were going to have another go.

I just remember one 'mentally tortured' from Guantanamo Bay..

the case explains "half-inflated balls" as a source of Mental torture...

Man, i am a criminal then... I blasted a lot of balls in my whole life...

Thank you for the report and the photos. I haven't been able to look through them all yet, but the one that said, "It doesn't matter if you're a..." was especially fantabulous!

Fantastic job, great photos. Wish we could have been there, but we were taking cake and coffee to our recruiters here in Texas!

How can creepy liars like those show their faces, in the City that suffered so much?

It is heart warming to see a patriotic demonstration in support of our brave troops. Those are tremendously powerful photographs. Thank you for reporting on this event.

Excellent work as always. When I was in elementary school, we were stationed at Ft. Wadsworth in Staten Island and my dad was a recruiter for the Army working out of the Flat Iron Works Building in the late sixties.
Not a great time to be a recruiter...
